Toad is a 1987 AW11 Toyota MR2 and has the unfortunate responsibility of being the +EM Test Mule. Or Test Toad as it would happen to be.

First, the Colin Chapman treatment

Not bad, but we want it under 2000lbs

Next, fixing the coolant routing that the previous owner screwed up. This is going to be involved, but we won't ever have to fix it again!

ARP happens to make good -20 AN bungs

They're BIG

Here are the fuse and relay blocks that are going to be implemented on Toad. They are made by Cooper-Bussmann and make use of ISO280 components. These use Metripack 280 tangless female terminals and standard Delphi Metripack seals. This makes things very easy, as +EM uses a plethora of Metripack parts.

On the left is a bussed fuse block. On the right is an unbussed fuse/relay block.

These are ISO280 relays. I've been told they're used on late model GM vehicles. ATC Micro fuses are implimented on the fuse sections.

Here's the finished fuse/relay/power/ECU panel. I think it looks good.

This AN-20 tee fitting will allow the coolant pressure cap to be remotely located. It's a bit heavier than it looks.

Toad is getting a fresh 4A-GE 20v blacktop. Here's some progress!
