Orion Engineered Motorwerks is a community-driven research and development shop located in Ashkum, IL. Our primary focus is engine building and sport compact tuning. +EM was born out of a desire to learn and share to the betterment of the community. We strive for open business and research practices, and an open development process.

We believe in balance as a virtue. While this might not make record-setting drag cars, or anything glamorous for the magazines, it means we make cars which drivers enjoy driving. Tuning every aspect of a project to interact with the whole in a positive way is makes a car that is, we hope, greater than the sum of its parts.
